A Journey of Kindness Across India:

The Kindness Kitchen Tour 2025

In October 2025, inspired by this expanding community, Nirmala and Naresh decided to embark on a purposeful three - month tour across India, carrying the spirit of their kitchen from city to city.

From October to December 2025, the family traveled over 6000 km through 6 states — Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Goa, and Karnataka — hosting Kindness Kitchen events in various cities that touched thousands in person and reached lakhs through heartfelt media coverage. Their model was built on gift culture and heartfelt contribution — no prices, no bills, only an invitation to give from the heart so kindness could keep flowing forward.

Each event celebrated local flavours and traditions, from a Tribal Thali in Hyderabad and Lost Food of the Indigenous in Warangal to a Millet Thali in Ahmedabad, Raw Vegan creations in Surat, Great Granny’s Udupi Thali in Pune, Mumbai Special and Bihari Thali in Goa, and ending with a Buddha Bowl & Sindhi Thali in Bengaluru. More than food, they nurtured spaces where strangers became family, stories were exchanged, and quiet moments of compassion unfolded.

Along the way, it became clear how kindness transcends language, age, and background. Whether sitting on the floor around banana leaves in Pune, sharing a coastal meal in Goa, or gathering in circles of reflection in Mysore, the journey reaffirmed a simple truth: food is not just nourishment — it is an anchor for connection.

The journey resonated far beyond the physical circles, capturing hearts and media attention across the country. Through television, print, and digital coverage — including features reaching lakhs online — the message of kindness traveled even farther than the 6000 km on the road.

This media recognition and award reflect a growing collective desire for meaningful, compassionate living. They affirm that kindness is not just a personal act — it is a shared language, a newsworthy truth, and a bridge to a gentler world.

As they return home, their hearts are full — not just with memories, but with the certainty that every meal shared plants a seed of change. The tour may have ended, but the kindness they witnessed continues to ripple outward, carried by every person who sat in a circle with them, every host who opened their home, and every story that turned a stranger into family.
